The Perth Royal Food Awards celebrates excellence in Western Australia’s agricultural and food industries. As a part of the mission of Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA), these awards honour tradition while driving innovation, supporting local producers, and showcasing the very best of WA’s food and beverage offerings.
 
Each year, the awards grow bigger and better, with new categories and competitions reflecting the latest consumer trends and industry advancements. Guided by a team of independent judges, passionate committee members, and dedicated volunteers, the Perth Royal Food Awards are a benchmark for quality and a platform for producers to shine.
 
Winning a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal isn’t just an accolade – it’s a powerful marketing tool. Medalists proudly display their awards on packaging and promotional materials, gaining recognition and credibility in a competitive market.
 
We invite food and beverage producers across WA to enter, compete, and showcase their products alongside the best in the industry.

Judging pROCESS

At the Perth Royal Food Awards, every product is judged “blind” – with no labels or branding – ensuring a fair and impartial process. Judges assess each entry solely on quality, without knowing who made it.
 
Our judging panel is selected for their deep industry expertise and includes chefs, educators, researchers, producers, retailers, and dedicated food specialists. Each product is evaluated against strict quality benchmarks, with only the very best recognised.
 
To maintain anonymity, stewards present all entries to the judges. If a product doesn’t meet the standard, it won’t receive an award – only truly outstanding products earn a Perth Royal Food Awards medal.
